Debt Reduction Steps

The Debt Reduction Program works. Here is a step-by-step overview:

Step 1: Call or e-mail us for a free consultation. We will analyze your financial situation and establish your potential for debt reduction.

Step 2: Together we will figure out the proper monthly dollar amount that you plan to save towards a negotiated settlement. On average this amount is considerably less than your current minimum payments. At the same time, this amount will go towards paying off your debt, not just simply paying credit card interest charges. In addition, the money will be saved monthly in a new account that you set up and control.

Step 3: As soon as you enroll in our program, we will contact your creditors in an attempt to handle future creditor communications. It is strongly advised that you avoid using your credit while on the program.

Step 4: Once sufficient funds have accumulate to make reasonable offers, we will work with your creditors individually and negotiate. Often we try to reduce debts by at least 50% of your current balances. Keep in mind that it may take several months of savings before we are in a position to make settlement offers.

Step 5: We will stay in contact with you to update on your situation. Once a settlement is negotiated with a creditor, you will receive immediate notification of the great news.

Step 6: Congratulations, you are now free of debt! After the account is paid, we ask that your creditors contact the credit rating bureaus and let them know that your accounts are "settled in full," "settled," "paid," or "settled for less than the full amount." You no longer owe on this account because the balance is zero!
